The clinic is equipped for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of endocrine disorders and dysfunctions, providing a multidisciplinary approach in collaboration with experts from Mayo in ophthalmology, ENT, oncology, surgery, obstetrics, transplantation, and other specializations.
Care includes diabetes, eating disorders, osteoporosis, calcium metabolism disorders, pituitary problems, reproductive gland issues, adrenal or thyroid disorders, as well as specific areas such as transgender and intersex medicine or transplantation medicine. The endocrine system includes the pancreas, thyroid and parathyroid glands, pineal gland, hypothalamus, adrenal and pituitary glands, ovaries and testes, and other organs that respond to, influence, or metabolize hormones.

Doc. Dr. Martin Kužma, PhD.
Endocrinologist
Assoc. Prof. Martin Kužma, MD, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava. After completing his studies in general medicine, he joined the Fifth Department of Internal Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University and University Hospital Bratislava. He also completed his doctoral studies at this institution, focusing on the relationship between growth hormone and bone metabolism. He later completed his habilitation in this field and was appointed associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University.
He is a specialist in endocrinology and internal medicine and has more than 15 years of clinical experience. He is a member of the executive committees of the Slovak Endocrine Society and the Slovak Society for Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases. He currently serves as the regional expert of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic for endocrinology in the Bratislava Region.
Assoc. Prof. Kužma specialises in thyroid and pituitary disorders, disorders of calcium and phosphate metabolism, and osteoporosis. He is the author of more than 70 publications in Slovak and international medical journals, primarily focusing on endocrinology-related osteoporosis. He regularly lectures at leading Slovak and international medical conferences.
